The Senior Informatics Sales Specialist will use deep technical expertise to guide customers in data analysis, cloud-based workflows, and bioinformatics pipelines. You will collaborate closely with account managers and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions, provide proofs-of-concept, and influence strategic decisions. This position requires strong customer engagement skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both scientific and executive stakeholders. Serve as a subject matter expert in genomics informatics, providing guidance on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis, cloud-based workflows, laboratory information systems, AI/ML applications, and bioinformatics tools.. . Engage with C-level executives, IT leaders, bioinformaticians, and researchers to understand customer requirements and recommend tailored solutions.. . Deliver proofs-of-concept and demonstrations to validate product fit and enable adoption.. . Collaborate with account managers and sequencing specialists to ensure customer success and drive sales growth.. . Conduct both basic and advanced informatics presentations, seminars, and training for customers and internal teams.. . Provide customer feedback to internal product, development, and marketing teams to enhance solutions and services.. . Support license renewals, pipeline growth, and strategic account planning activities.. . . 5+ years of relevant experience in bioinformatics, clinical informatics, or genomics sales.. . Deep technical expertise in sequencing data analysis, variant interpretation, annotation, and reporting.. . Strong understanding of multiomic applications, data formats, and analysis methods.. . Familiarity with cloud-based informatics platforms, LIMS, and enterprise NGS solutions.. . Proficiency with Linux, command-line tools, Python, and APIs.. . Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.. . Proven ability to solve complex customer challenges and provide consultative solutions.. .
