Lead the architecture and implementation of AWS-based data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.. Define and enforce data modeling, metadata, lineage, and governance standards to support analytics and machine learning workflows.. Establish best practices for schema design, normalization, and optimal data formats (e.g., Parquet, JSON).. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data architectures aligned with business and AI/ML use cases.. Guide the selection and application of AWS services (Glue, S3, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions) and integration tools (Kafka, Talend, Informatica).. Mentor technical teams on architectural standards, cloud-native design patterns, and modern data management practices.. Support project delivery for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.. 7+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or enterprise data management.. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native data solutions in AWS.. Expertise in data modeling, metadata management, governance frameworks, and ETL concepts.. Proficiency with SQL, Python, and familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, or AWS Kinesis.. Experience with databases and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL Server Reporting Services..
