What You Must Be Able to Do. Build and customize Shopify Plus 2.0 themes from scratch — not just edit existing ones. Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, high-performing storefronts. Explain your technical decisions clearly to clients and project managers in plain English. Manage code via GitHub in a multi-developer agency environment. Work US time zones (EST–PST) with fast, consistent communication across Slack, Gmail, and ClickUp. Core Technical Responsibilities. Code Shopify Plus 2.0 Liquid themes from scratch and using the Dawn base theme. Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify Plus templates. Build and optimize landing pages from Figma files and existing templates. Optimize site speed against Google Core Web Vitals benchmarks. Configure GA4, Google Ads tracking, and GTM within Shopify and Shopify Checkout. Configure Shopify Plus admin settings: discounts, shipping rules, scripts, and functions. Customize Shopify Plus Checkout using Checkout Extensibility and Functions. Build custom collection filters using Tags, Metafields, and Metaobjects. Implement and configure advanced Shopify apps (ReBuy, Yotpo, SYWM, etc.). Build SEO-optimized page templates with correct heading structure, canonical tags, and noindex logic.
