Accountabilities. Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of PostgreSQL databases within a high-growth SaaS environment.. Automate operational tasks, from package updates to provisioning and configuration management, minimizing manual intervention.. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production database issues while maintaining robust observability and alerting systems.. Plan and execute database growth, capacity management, and service rollouts.. Collaborate with engineering teams to review migrations, queries, and schema changes for performance and efficiency.. Build and maintain core database infrastructure components and self-service tools that improve developer autonomy.. Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, ensuring systems meet high availability and performance standards.. Continuously document processes and actions to drive repeatability and further automation.. . Proven experience managing .
