What You'll Do:. . Ensure full compliance with global trade management requirements, customs procedures, and import/export regulations across all applicable jurisdictions. . Manage end-to-end customs compliance processes, including preparation and review of compliance documentation, tariff management, and coordination with customs brokerage partners, supporting the procurement team in sourcing the right brokerage partners. . Act as the primary liaison with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies to address inquiries, audits, and reporting obligations. . Conduct regular customs audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance gaps or exposure. . Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all customs activities, ensuring alignment with legal and corporate recordkeeping standards. . Oversee correct application of HS classification, country of origin, and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to support cost optimisation and trade efficiency. . Monitor and ensure compliance with sanctions and embargoes, working closely with legal and compliance teams to manage restricted party screenings and export controls. . Develop and implement internal customs compliance programs, policies, and training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. . Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, and procurement teams to ensure customs requirements are met and trade risks are minimised. . Serve as a subject matter expert on all matters related to customs laws and international trade, offering guidance and strategic input to internal stakeholder. . What You'll Bring:. . Experience in customs compliance, trade compliance, or a related area. . Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. . Solid knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, FTA rules, and country of origin determination. . Familiarity with global sanctions, embargoes, and export control requirements. . Experience working with customs management systems and trade compliance tools. . Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities effectively. . Company Location: Portugal.
