Associate Sales Development Representative: Workers Comp. & Physical Services at Professional Physical Therapy. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is . primarily. an internal role responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads and referral sources and growing referrals utilizing various CRM’s and data sources along with assigned target physicians. This role is also responsible for reviewing and resolving workers compensation account management needs..  The purpose of this role is to obtain new referral sources, re engage past referral sources and grow current referral sources targeting physicians in non-orthopedic and orthopedic taxonomies.  It is also the purpose of this role to assist with communication and management of case managers and adjusters in the Workers Compensation space.. Essential Functions: . ·        Responsible for outreach, creating interest, securing a referral, qualifying leads to help expand the customer base. . ·        Target physicians using multiple data sources, lists, research and assigned targets. . ·        Maintain, sustain, and grow accounts as it pertains to physician/case managers/adjustor contacts.  . ·        Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly activity reports to management.. ·        Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently.. ·        Distributing materials and pertinent information to the physician referral sources and the case managers/adjusters in Workers Compensation via mail, email, or fax.. ·        Assist with communication with case managers and adjusters and provide any documentation requested.. ·        Pull data/reports as needed for utilization with physicians/case managers/adjusters as well as internal management of WC cases (managing outstanding payments, utilization reports, management of timely patient evaluations, scheduling and follow-ups).. ·        Data entry within several applications (including Salesforce, Raintree etc). Qualifications: . ·        1-2 years of successful inside sales experience and/or in medical billing, accounts receivables, with strong emphasis on denial management and third party policy.  Bachelor’s degree a plus.. ·        Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.. ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.. ·        Excellent interpersonal skills. . ·        Experience with sales related software tools such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytical systems; Salesforce.com (SFDC), Yellowfin, and Raintree.. ·        Strong understanding of insurance payor reimbursement, authorization, collection practices and practice management systems.. ·        Self-motivated; self-starter.. ·        Strong capacity to work independently . ·        Strong prospecting skills.. ·        Resides in the Northeast is a PLUS. ·        Ability to work successfully in a team environment.. ·        Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills..  . Working Conditions:.  . ·        Works in an office environment.   . ·        He or she may spend long amounts of time sitting down. . ·        May be required to walk up and down the stairs. . ·        May be required to work evenings and/or weekends as job duties require. . ·        Potential for light travel within the northeast regions.
