This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to support healthcare quality and risk adjustment initiatives through direct provider engagement. As a QI Specialist I, you’ll work closely with Tier 2 and Tier 3 providers to improve performance outcomes, facilitate data sharing, and deliver impactful coaching and support. By aligning providers with quality benchmarks and risk adjustment goals, you’ll contribute meaningfully to patient care outcomes and compliance. The role combines analytical thinking, relationship management, and process coordination in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.. Accountabilities:. . Develop and execute engagement plans for assigned Tier 2 and Tier 3 providers to meet annual quality and risk adjustment goals.. . Lead regular meetings and coaching sessions with providers to address performance gaps, define action plans, and track progress.. . Identify and resolve barriers within practice environments that affect goal achievement and patient outcomes.. . Drive provider participation in quality programs, EMR integration, clinical profiles, and data-sharing initiatives.. . Utilize standardized tools to document all engagement and training activities for reporting and effectiveness tracking.. . Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between providers and internal teams to facilitate training, documentation, and compliance.. . Maintain clear, professional communication with physicians, practice managers, and medical staff to support program alignment.. . Ensure adherence to internal policies and quality standards while organizing and improving engagement processes.. . Depending on location, same-day travel may be required up to 80% of the time.. . . Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.. . 1–3 years of healthcare experience, including at least 1 year focused on provider engagement, practice transformation, or quality improvement.. . Solid understanding of quality metrics and risk adjustment strategies across various healthcare plans.. . Strong data analysis abilities and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with medical professionals.. . Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.. . Must reside in Utah and be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MDT.. .
