As a Vosler Academy Curriculum Developer, you will design, develop, and refine educational programs that shape the professional growth of military personnel. You will work closely with educational leadership and subject matter experts to ensure curriculum aligns with strategic objectives and evolving instructional needs. This role involves hands-on curriculum design, evaluation, and continuous improvement, impacting the quality and effectiveness of professional military education. You will have the opportunity to apply best practices from both military and civilian education environments while mentoring teams and influencing long-term instructional strategies. The position allows for a combination of remote work and on-site engagement in Colorado.. . Accountabilities. In this role, you will:. . Support educational initiatives by developing, refining, and applying instructional modalities for professional military education across all levels.. . Conduct needs analyses and research to design, evaluate, and revise curriculum for resident and distributed learning courses.. . Lead curriculum planning, development, and assessment activities, ensuring lessons, tests, rubrics, and course objectives are up to date and effective.. . Supervise teams to accomplish curriculum requirements and serve as Lead Instructional Designer for assigned projects.. . Attend training events and symposiums to incorporate best practices and emerging methodologies into curriculum design.. . Provide professional recommendations on educational products, evaluation data, and course improvements.. . Develop new lesson plans and course content to address evolving educational requirements and generational learning needs.. . . Candidates should have:. . 10+ years of experience in military education or a closely related instructional environment.. . Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and instructional design using frameworks such as ADDIE or similar methodologies.. . Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred or equivalent real-world experience.. . Familiarity with professional military education programs across multiple service branches is highly desirable.. . Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills to develop curriculum and assess instructional effectiveness.. . Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.. . Excellent communication skills for collaborating with leadership, subject matter experts, and instructional teams.. .
