Additive Manufacturing Technician - DED/WAAM at Phillips Corporation. We're seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious . Additive Manufacturing Technician. to elevate our production capabilities. In this role, you'll master state-of-the-art direct energy deposition (DED) and wire arc additive machines (WAAM), ensuring optimal performance and flawless execution while consistently resolving complex mechanical challenges to maintain uninterrupted production. Your expertise in metal additive manufacturing or welding will be crucial in redefining production excellence and delivering world-class quality in every component. You'll also take the lead in safe operation and champion a safety-first culture by proactively identifying and eliminating hazards.. You will drive transformative improvements in manufacturing, optimizing machine performance and workflows through innovative operational procedures. Collaboration is key, as you'll work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to exceed project goals and set new standards for component excellence. Additionally, you will implement robust inventory and quality management procedures, redefining our manufacturing execution success.. *Due to the requirements of our customers and the nature of this position, candidates must be a United States Citizen.*. *Must be willing to relocate. Ability to read, write and modify G-code to support operations.. . Working knowledge of MasterCAM or other similar CAD/CAM package. . Experience with SculptPrint, WAMsoft, MasterCam Additive or other DED software package is a plus. . Willing and able to relocate to the Danville, VA area after accepting an offer and before starting work with Phillips Corporation. . Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, SharePoint and Teams.. . Ability to work second or third shift is a plus.. . Company Location: United States.
