The Team Lead, Billing & Posting Resolution will oversee claims production, posting, collections, and compliance processes while ensuring operational efficiency and strategic alignment with organizational goals. You will mentor team members, resolve complex billing issues, and drive improvements in key revenue cycle indicators such as A/R days, cash collections, and denials management. The position requires a proactive leader with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills who thrives on optimizing processes and delivering accurate, timely results. You will also serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.. . Accountabilities. . Provide oversight and direction for billing, collections, and posting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.. . Resolve complex, outstanding claims and identify operational deficiencies, implementing corrective action plans as needed.. . Mentor and support team members, including Billing Coordinators, to enhance performance and professional growth.. . Monitor denials, underpayments, and contract compliance, providing education and actionable insights to operational teams.. . Review statistical reports to assess trends, forecast revenue, and maintain budgetary alignment.. . Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information and ensure adherence to federal/state regulations.. . Serve as the primary liaison with facility management and external partners to optimize revenue cycle operations.. . . High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.. . Minimum of 5 years of hospital billing experience, with working knowledge of insurance regulations, procedure/diagnosis coding, and automated billing systems.. .
