Salesforce Lead, Release & Environment Manager. to oversee deployment operations, environment strategy, and standardization efforts across our complex, multi-org Salesforce ecosystem. While this is not a coding role, success requires deep knowledge of Salesforce metadata, release processes, and development lifecycle practices.. This role serves as the key liaison between development, QA, and operations—ideal for a systems-oriented professional who excels at coordinating across technical teams to ensure seamless, secure, and high-quality Salesforce releases.. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:. . Manage and execute Salesforce deployments using tools like Gearset, Change Sets, and SFDX. . . Oversee environment pipelines from development through production, ensuring coordination across projects and teams. . . Identify and remediate metadata inconsistencies between Salesforce orgs. . . Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps to maintain clean, reliable environments. . . Develop and maintain Salesforce release management documentation and SOPs. . . Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases and assess impacts on org configurations. . . Ensure alignment with enterprise change management and release governance. . . Communicate deployment schedules, risks, and readiness to stakeholders. . . Promote best practices for org hygiene, metadata control, and version management.. . . 3+ years supporting Salesforce development teams in an enterprise environment. . . Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, Apex, Lightning, and declarative tools. . . Hands-on experience with Gearset, Change Sets, and SFDX. . . Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and complex release timelines. . . Ability to assess Salesforce code/config changes for risk and impact. . . . Preferred:. . Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems. . . . . Background managing multi-org Salesforce environments. . . Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps best practices. . .
