Provides support to the Director, Community Engagement & Inclusion to promote our commitment to volunteer engagement at every opportunity and developing the active Vision Mate volunteer base needed to keep pace with the demand from CNIB participants.. . Supports the further development of Vision Mate on boarding, screening and training to reinforce the goal of increasing our client support base, with results focused on improving onboarding time and overall experience for Vision Mate volunteers . . Supports the development of impactful volunteer onboarding and training templates and resources, by sharing onboarding feedback from Vision Mate volunteers & clients and identifying opportunities for improvement. . . Supports other Vision Mate staff with monitoring Vision Mate applications, review the eligibility of the candidate for the program, review skills and commitment and make referrals to other volunteer programs when appropriate.. . Supports staff with the screening process of Vision Mate volunteers, coordinated intake interviews, complete reference checks and Police Record Check. . . Track onboarding documentation for Vision Mate volunteers in Salesforce. Including application form, reference an interview form, waivers, code of conduct, handbook etc. . . Coordinate and host virtual CNIB orientations for Vision Mate volunteers, collaborating in the development of orientation materials and other resources for onboarding Vision Mate Volunteers. . Make referrals in Salesforce to appropriate staff of qualified candidates for the Vision Mate program.. . Supports with the implementation of centralized stewardship campaigns for Vision Mate program . . General administrative duties as required. . . Who you are:. Education and Certifications. College or University diploma/degree in a related field such as Program coordination, Project Management, Volunteer Engagement OR equivalent experience.. Experience and Qualifications. . Minimum1-year related experience. . . Excellent relationship building skills.. . Excellent oral and written communication skills.. . Highly organized and able to work independently.. . Flexible and dynamic with well-developed interpersonal skills.. . Professional attitude, self-starter and flexible to an evolving program department.. .
