QA Automation Engineer (Functional, API & Cypress) at Devsu. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with deep experience in functional testing, API validation, and automation using Cypress. This role requires strong technical ownership and the ability to validate complex workflows while ensuring consistent, high-quality releases. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, product, and client-facing teams to strengthen quality processes and automation coverage.. Responsibilities. Lead and execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing for complex web applications. . Validate API behavior using . Postman. , including designing collections, assertions, and advanced scripts. . Develop, maintain, and scale automation suites using . Cypress. . . Collaborate with developers to perform root-cause analysis and improve system reliability. . Define and document testing strategies, test cases, defect patterns, and automation practices. . Drive continuous improvement across QA processes, tools, and quality standards.. At least 4 years of experience. in Quality Assurance roles. . Strong experience in . functional QA testing. . . Proven, advanced experience validating APIs with . Postman. . . Solid hands-on experience with . Cypress. for UI/API automation (additional frameworks are a plus). . .
