Key Responsibilities:. . . Contract Negotiation & Management:. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., SaaS, licensing, partnerships). Maintain scalable contract templates and streamline negotiation processes.. . . Compliance & Risk Management:. Ensure compliance with UK and international laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and export controls. Identify and mitigate global regulatory risks.. . . Data Protection & Privacy:. Lead data privacy compliance, develop policies, and advise on GDPR and global data protection.. . . Employment Law:. Provide legal advice on employment matters across jurisdictions, including disputes and regulatory compliance.. . . Intellectual Property:. Manage trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Protect proprietary technology and software.. . . External Counsel & Training:. Oversee external legal advisors and provide internal training on key regulatory changes.. . . Sales Support:. Support large enterprise sales deals to ensure compliance during negotiations and execution.. . . Qualified solicitor with 5–7 years of PQE, ideally in the SaaS or technology sector.. . Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.. . Solid knowledge of UK and international laws (GDPR, IP, and employment law).. . Proven ability to manage diverse legal matters in a fast-paced environment.. . Excellent communication skills to convey legal concepts to non-legal teams.. . Desirable:. .
