Automation Support Specialist at Freelance Latin America. We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Support Specialist to support backend systems and no-code automations for a U.S.-based organization. This role focuses on maintaining data accuracy, monitoring automation workflows, and ensuring smooth day-to-day system operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, backend processes, and learning automation tools.. Duties / Tasks to perform. Maintain and update backend spreadsheets, databases, and lookup tables used in automations . Monitor and audit Zapier and Power Automate workflows daily; identify and resolve basic errors . Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems to keep automations running smoothly . Generate Zoom links, process attendance reports, and update tracking sheets . Update automation-driven email templates, merge fields, and backend settings (no direct external communication) . Run test data through automation workflows and document issues or improvement needs . Assist in maintaining reporting dashboards related to activity tracking and compliance . Keep SOPs, process documentation, and automation logs up to date. Basic familiarity with Zapier and/or Power Automate . Strong Excel skills (data entry, data cleanup, basic formulas) . Ability to maintain accurate, structured data across multiple systems . Experience monitoring and troubleshooting basic automation errors . High attention to detail and consistency in backend operations . Ability to follow established workflows and document updates clearly . Comfortable learning new tools and navigating multi-system environments. Preferred but not required:. Experience building or testing no-code / low-code automations . Understanding of workflow logic (triggers, actions, data mapping) . Familiarity with lookup tables, merge fields, or template-based automations . Experience with backend tools such as Zoom or CRM platforms . Basic QA or testing mindset . Prior experience in operations, systems, or data management roles . Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible schedule, approximately 10 hours per week, within Eastern Time (GMT -5).
