
Data Scientist - Product Engineering at Channel Factory. We expect a lot from one another and value our thoughtful and intellectually curious company culture. . The Data Scientist is responsible for creating analytical solutions for data-driven marketing. The Data Scientist leverages supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to optimize all aspects of the marketing value chain (targeting, bid optimization, messaging, media preference, Text-to-Speech). Additionally, this role will have interdepartmental responsibility by supporting new product development and data best practices. . Responsibilities. . Develop repeatable automated “data wrangling” processes across multiple incoming data streams (performance, suitability, optimization, categorization, and more). . Build models to leverage multiple algorithms (logistic regression, random forest, GBM, RNN, CNN, CHAID, etc). . Conduct Text Mining (Sentiment Analysis, TF-IDF, etc) concerning our suitability scoring. . Create code deployable as automated routines in production environments. . Model validation activities. . Enable supervised and unsupervised analysis of ad campaigns. . Deliver non-technical presentations of technical solutions to Product Team and Leadership. . Develop agentic frameworks to harness LLMs and utilize NLP. . Establish statistically valid measurement practices . . Recommend storage and usage practices for outputs of Data-Science processes. . Run ad-hoc analyses related to Product builds and Requirements to drive data-driven Product direction. . All other duties as assigned. . . . BA/Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or Applied Mathematics. . 3 or more years of applied statistical analysis. . 3 or more years of experience with Python. . 3 or more years of experience with SQL. . Experience with scikit-learn or keras, pandas, and numpy. . Ability to travel a minimum of 15% a year for onsite meetings, training, etc.. . Ideal Candidate Profile. . Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas in simple general terms. . Resourceful in the development of solutions. . Experience with big data platforms (AWS, Aurora, ElasticSearch). . Experience with Natural Language Processing. . Experience building Data Science tools or Agentic Frameworks. .
