We are currently tendering for work to assist the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing to roll out a new national service to support individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression through evidence-based interventions delivered by trained practitioners via telehealth. . We're seeking expressions of interest from individuals to become Clinical Supervisors for this service. If AHA is successful in relation to the tender process, the successful candidates in this EOI process will be offered the position with expected commencement on 1 October 2025. . The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership, supervision, and operational oversight to a dynamic team of behavioural health practitioners delivering evidence-based, low intensity interventions via telehealth platforms. The position requires a blend of clinical expertise and clinical supervision skills, and a robust understanding of technology-enabled health care delivery to ensure the overall safety of staff and help seekers. . These roles will work from home with regular remote management meetings and twice-yearly peer group catch ups. . On offer:. . Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you will:. . Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision ensuring clinical competence, ethical practice, and adherence to service protocols . . Mentor, coach, and support staff in the delivery of low intensity, change-focused behavioural therapy interventions. . Oversee the continuous professional development of clinical staff and lead reflective practice sessions and case discussions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence. . Liaise with the Clinical Lead to develop and implement workforce management models in the support of a remote workforce and ensuring well-being, resilience and recognising and responding to risks of burnout or compassion fatigue. . Provide expert clinical consultation on complex or high-risk cases, supporting practitioners in risk assessment, safety planning, and care escalation as needed. . Audit the implementation of service quality standards, policies, and procedures for LiCBT interventions. . Collaborate with technology, clinical and operational teams to optimise telehealth platforms and workflows. . Required:. . Degree qualification in Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent.. . Unrestricted AHPRA Registration or AASW clinical registration with recognition as a clinical supervisor.. . Minimum 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience, including experience in delivering LiCBT services via telehealth. . . Significant post-qualification experience in supervising low intensity, evidence-based behavioural interventions within a mental health telehealth setting .. . Strong knowledge of telehealth and digital mental health service models.. . Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills, with a sound understanding of regulatory and ethical practice in telehealth.. . Experience in clinical governance, clinical supervision and performance improvement.. . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills.. .
