Accountant (WFH) at Staff4Me. The. Accountant . role will offer a great mix of hands-on accounting work and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong technical accounting background, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. C. andidates must have QuickBooks Online experience and advanced Excel experience. . Key Responsibilities: . • Accounting routine: o Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely payments . o Customer Invoicing and AR management o Daily bank reconciliation and cash reporting . o Bi-monthly Payroll processing (ADP) o Excel reporting. • General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurately reported. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules . • Month-End Close: Prepare the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data. • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations and support audit preparations . • Tax Preparation & Reporting: Support the preparation of tax returns and filings for corporate taxes, sales taxes, and other relevant taxes. • Financial Analysis: Provide insights into financial performance through detailed analysis of variances, trends, and forecasts. • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and business operations.. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus). . • Experience: o Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance . o QuickBooks Online experience . o Advanced Excel experience . • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and accounting regulations. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills . • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail. • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve accounting issues and offer actionable insights . • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
