Website: . www.wearechorus.com. Scope of Work. Chorus is looking for someone to manage relationships with external organizations and partners. This role focuses on cultivating opportunities to strengthen the services we’re providing to creators, while also expanding collaborations with other organizations who share our pro-democracy mission. They will serve as a primary ambassador for Chorus - attending events, sharing program updates with partners, and helping organizations understand how to work with us. Additionally, they will build a plan to integrate the Creator Council into decision-making conversations and mentorship programs with past, present, and future cohorts, and help standardize a cadence for Creator Council meetings.. We are a small team with an all-hands-on-deck attitude; no task is too small and responsibilities may evolve as project needs do. That said, key responsibilities include:. Partnerships Management. . Identify potential partners for Chorus and educate them about ways to collaborate with us. Work closely with senior leadership to manage relationships with high-priority contacts. This includes following through on requests for creators and regularly updating policymakers, nonprofits, and other partners on opportunities to partner with Chorus.. Partner Memos.. Help create, and own distribution of, partner memos that provide valuable content analytics around newsworthy events, readouts of creator success stories, and updates on the program’s metrics on a regular basis. This includes identifying moments that should result in a partner memo, tracking new partner contacts, and creating partner lists based on the memo type.. Creator Council Management. . As the leaders behind this organization, . Chorus Creator Council. members are critical to the success of Chorus. This role must build out a program that ensures members’ commitment to the program is fully leveraged: engage them in decision-making, build them into the curriculum, and find ways for them to participate in proactive public communications on behalf of Chorus. This includes owning the logistics of all Creator Council meetings: establishing a meeting cadence, setting agendas, managing voting procedures, and ensuring follow through on any assigned action items.. Events Support. . Leverage partner relationships to help secure invites and press credentials for creators at major political and cultural events, and attend in-person events as a representative for Chorus. Support the team in producing Chorus’s own events. . SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE. Partners speak highly on the resources and support we provide. This is a contract role with compensation ranging from $8,000 to $10,000 per month, depending on experience.. Location. Chorus is a fully remote team. Strong preference for this position to be located in Washington, DC. All team members must be located within the continental United States and must be reachable between the hours of 10am ET and 6pm ET, regardless of where they live and work.. This role may require occasional travel for partnership meetings or events. In such cases, Chorus will cover travel and lodging expenses..
