As a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of custom applications, integrations, and platform solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery across complex projects. You will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while coaching and mentoring a team of software engineers. Your role involves designing scalable solutions, configuring workflows, and integrating systems across platforms. You will ensure operational excellence, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards. Accountabilities:. Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers in developing ServiceNow solutions.. Gather system requirements from stakeholders and end-users for custom applications, integrations, and platform enhancements.. Design, implement, and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules.. Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.. Conduct impact assessments, validate service maps, and participate in user acceptance testing.. Promote best practices, maintain operational documentation, and develop SOPs to minimize support risks.. Remediate production incidents and ensure alignment with technical leads to maintain consistent approaches.. . 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, or development.. Hands-on experience with custom applications, platform solutions, and system integrations.. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Scripted REST APIs, UI Builder, and Script Includes.. Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM processes, Discovery, Software Asset Management, and Service Catalog workflows.. Experience with data extraction, ETL integrations, and automated bi-directional integrations.. Ability to produce technical design documents, user documentation, and participate in operational planning.. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.. Willingness to pursue ServiceNow certifications, including CSA, CAD, or ITIL Foundation preferred.. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.. .
