We do this by providing half-term and afterschool bootcamps to 8-15 year olds, as well as providing an online community. Our overarching goal is to empower and prepare students for the new horizon of digital technology spanning from AI to Quantum Computing, and promote curiosity, career readiness and overcome socioeconomic disparities.. . Position Overview:. We are looking for a friendly and confident individual to join the Web3sy team to deliver engaging bootcamps for young people aged 8-15. The ideal candidate is approachable, enthusiastic, and has a passion for teaching. You will ideally have strong technical skills, particularly in areas like coding and AI, and the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand and fun for students.. You must have a valid and active DBS certificate with at least 3 months of validity left.. . Responsibilities:. The following responsibilities help create an engaging learning environment for students to help develop their skills and nurture curiosity.. . Deliver Material: Teach and deliver course material through in-person and online bootcamps based on our curriculums, ensuring students grasp key concepts in technology, such as AI, programming, and other relevant subjects.. . Project Delivery: Guide students through practical coding projects.. . Providing Feedback and Support: Provide constructive feedback, and suggest areas for improvement. Offer assistance to students who may need additional help.. . Technical Troubleshooting: Assist students with any technical difficulties related to the learning platform, tools, or coding environments.. . Assessing and Meeting Learning Outcomes: Conduct tests, quizzes, or final assessments to evaluate a student's ability.. . Deliver a Personalised Experience: Tailor teaching based on students’ needs and abilities.. . Duration/Commitment:. Currently, we are in the process of organising bootcamps, but this will likely begin in July. You will be expected to complete the duration of our bootcamps, which are usually 6-8 weeks. . .
