The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead the development and execution of ACDC’s revenue strategy across all service lines. This executive will be responsible for aligning sales, business development, client success, and marketing to drive sustainable and values-based growth. As a key member of the executive team, the CRO will play a pivotal role in helping ACDC remain a market differentiator while honoring its mission of compassionate service. . Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with ACDC’s mission, values, and long-term goals.. . Identify and secure new business opportunities in emergency management, disaster recovery, human services, and business continuity. . . Build and lead a high-performing revenue organization, including future Account Management and Client Success teams.. . Design and implement scalable structures for account management to enhance client satisfaction and retention as ACDC grows.. . Champion ACDC’s market differentiation as a woman-owned, empathy-driven consulting firm. . . Partner with marketing to refine go-to-market messaging, proposals, and thought leadership that reflects ACDC’s values. . . Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to keep ACDC ahead of the curve.. . Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Program Delivery to ensure revenue growth is profitable and strategically aligned. . . Coordinate closely with the Marketing and Proposal Teams on responses to formal RFPs and proactive, non-solicited proposals based on market intelligence and relationships developed by the CRO. . . Work hand-in-hand with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure seamless transitions from business development to project delivery and long-term client engagement. . . Serve as a key advisor to the CEO on strategic decisions related to growth, client relationships, and business development priorities. . . Establish a Conference/Trade Show strategy that is tied back to the revenue strategy and ensures good ROI's.. . Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards growth goals, reporting performance to CEO and Senior Leadership Team. . . Coordinate with CEO and senior leadership team on effective selection, use, and management of lobbying firms in support of revenue strategy. . . . Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:. 10+ years in business development, revenue strategy, or sales leadership, ideally in government contracting, consulting, or emergency management. . . Demonstrated ability to scale revenue in a high-growth environment. . . Proven success in building and leading account management or client success functions. . . Strong understanding of public sector procurement, contracting, and partnership models. . . Exceptional communicator, collaborator, and leader who thrives in a values-driven organization. . . Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep appreciation for mission-oriented work and community impact. . . Willingness and ability to travel 50–80% for in-person client engagement, conferences, and strategic business development efforts. . . Supervisory Responsibilities:. Experience/Education Required:. . A Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Emeregency Management, or related field is required. Years of experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis, in addition to the minimum requirements.. . 10+ years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or revenue leadership.. . 5+ years of experience leading high-growth initiatives in a consulting, professional services, or government contracting environment.. . 5+ years of experience developing public sector business or managing capture strategies, including RFP response, client engagement, and contract negotiation.. . 3+ years of experience managing or building Account Management or Client Success functions.. . Experience/Education Preferred:. . A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Emergency Management, Public Policy, or related field is preferred. Years of experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis, in addition to the minimum requirements.. . 2+ years of familiarity with FEMA programs, HUD funding, or human services contracting.. . 2+ years experience using CRM tools, capturing planning software, or government procurement systems.. .
