Product Lifecycle Responsibilities. Discover & Define. . Understand business and technical requirements provided by product and UX teams. . Participate in design reviews and provide UI insights to support usability goals. . Design & Prototype. . Translate wireframes and low-fidelity mockups into polished, high-fidelity visual designs. . Build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma. . Maintain and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency across products. . Validate & Iterate. Revise designs based on feedback from internal reviews and user testing. Assist with visual QA and design handoff to development teams. Build & Deliver. . Prepare specifications, redlines, and design assets for development. . Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure visual fidelity and accessibility standards. . Grow & Learn. . Stay up to date with the latest UI trends and design technologies, particularly with AI. . Participate in team critiques, workshops, and skill-sharing sessions. . Skills & Competencies. . Strong visual design skills in layout, colour theory, typography, and iconography. . Ability to evaluate and adopt new AI-driven design technologies. . Proficient with modern design tools (Figma preferred; Sketch, Adobe XD also acceptable. . Understanding of responsive design principles and UI best practices. . Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices. . Basic familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus). . Excellent communication and collaboration skills across remote teams. . Passionate about great design and continuously improving the user experience. . . . Minimum Qualifications. . Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. . 1–3 years of experience in UI or visual design, preferably for web-based SaaS or enterprise products. . Portfolio of UI work that demonstrates a strong eye for visual detail, consistency, and clarity (please include link). . Comfortable working in a fully remote, cross-time-zone team (US, Europe). . . . Preferred Qualifications. . Experience contributing to a design system or reusable component library. . Exposure to motion design or micro-interaction tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie). . Familiarity with prototyping tools and handoff tools (e.g., Zeplin, Storybook). . Experience working with Agile teams and tools like Jira or Linear. . Comfortable creating brief UI walkthroughs or product GIFs/videos for marketing or release documentation. . . .
