As a Lead Technical Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-level technical support to a global client base, ensuring complex issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary escalation point for severe incidents, outages, and advanced troubleshooting, collaborating closely with internal technical teams to identify and implement solutions. This position blends hands-on problem-solving with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers and enhancing operational processes. You will work across diverse technologies, including SQL and Microsoft Azure, within a fast-paced environment that values initiative, teamwork, and continuous learning.. . Accountabilities. In this role, you will:. . Provide advanced application support for multiple products, serving as a key technical contact for clients.. . Lead investigations for Severity 1 issues, major service outages, and escalations from junior engineers.. . Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, escalating when required.. . Use ITSM tools and follow ITIL methodologies to track, manage, and resolve technical issues.. . Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to address complex problems and transition clients into support after upgrades or onboarding.. . Deliver technical training and mentorship to junior engineers.. . Review, document, and improve technical procedures to enhance support efficiency.. . Produce root cause analysis reports for critical incidents.. . Represent the technical support team in internal and external meetings as needed.. . The ideal candidate will bring:. . Proven experience in a 3rd line or senior technical service desk role.. . Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL.. . Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies.. .
