Back end Developer Freelance at Jeenka. We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer freelance to join our team.. You will be responsible for the server-side of our web applications. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you.. As a Senior Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers from all areas and also across countries to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.. Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s and client's needs.. Responsibilities . . Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.. . Actively contribute throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.. . Design, develop, and deploy new features to enhance tools and procedures as needed.. . Build and maintain websites and web applications.. . Develop server-side functionality and interfaces.. . Create responsive site layouts and user interfaces using standard web development practices.. . Integrate data from various backend databases into web applications.. . Gather and refine technical specifications and requirements to meet project needs.. . Collaborate with web designers to ensure the visual design is accurately implemented.. . . Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role.. . Strong problem diagnosis skills with a creative approach to solving issues.. . Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.. . Hands-on experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, SVN).. . Experience in Java Spring Boot. . Experience with PHP, Laravel and MySQL. . Experience with Drupal, Prestashop (nice to have). . Significant experience with WordPress and the implementation of headless architectures.. . Knowledge  of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices is valued. . Ability to work effectively under time pressure and meet deadlines.. . Experience working in an international company with cross-functional, global workflows is preferred.. . Fluent in Italian (both written and spoken).. . Proficiency in English is a plus.. .
