Scope of the Role. We’re looking for a Front-End Software Engineer with an eye for design and a performance-first mindset to build world-class ecommerce experiences across Shopify and headless stacks. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to craft high-converting pages, drive experimentation, and ship impactful features at scale.. Duties and responsibilities:. Build & Ship High-Performance Features. . Develop and maintain scalable front-end features on Shopify (custom theme + Hydrogen). . . Own and evolve reusable component libraries and design systems using React and/or Liquid. . . Deliver pixel-perfect, responsive UIs optimized for mobile and accessibility. . . Bring CRO- and brand-first experiences to life in collaboration with design and growth. . . Optimize for Speed, UX & Conversion. . Enhance page speed, responsiveness, and site structure. . . Implement and test A/B/C experiments, personalization, and landing page variants. . . Translate Figma designs into production-ready code. . . Support retention flows for loyalty, subscriptions, and account management. . . Cross-Functional Collaboration. . Integrate APIs, apps, and data sources with backend engineers and Shopify developers. . . Partner with growth teams to develop landing pages and ad destinations rapidly. . . Implement analytics, tagging, and event tracking across the user journey. . . Work with UX/CRO teams to refine and test user experiences continuously. . . Requirements:. . 3+ years in front-end development, ideally in a fast-paced DTC ecommerce setting. . . Expert in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and React (or similar frameworks). . . Hands-on experience with Shopify, Liquid templates, and Shopify apps. . . Strong grasp of responsive design, UX principles, and web performance optimization. . . Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Convert, VWO, PostHog) and analytics (GA4, Triple Whale, Segment). . . Excellent async communicator with a collaborative mindset. . . . Bonus:.
