Position Summary. We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our strategic finance function during a critical growth phase. This role will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making, capital planning, and operational optimization as we scale our registered dietitian network and expand partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare industry and a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics.. Key Responsibilities. Financial Planning & Forecasting. . Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for board reporting, investor presentations, and strategic planning. . Lead quarterly and annual budgeting processes, collaborating with leadership to establish realistic targets and growth scenarios. . Create investment planning forecasts that illustrate growth opportunities and capital requirements. . Support board presentations with financial analysis around customer acquisition costs, unit economics, and runway projections. . Analyze and model various business scenarios, including partnership expansions and operational scale opportunities. . Strategic Analysis & Business Intelligence. . Build and maintain staffing models that scale across changing partnerships and industry dynamics. . Analyze partner performance, revenue cycle efficiency, and operational bottlenecks. . Support strategic initiatives around network optimization, credentialing analysis, and resource allocation. . Provide insights on vendor contract performance and cost optimization opportunities. . Operational Financial Management. . Partner with Revenue Cycle Management team to analyze claims processing, partner inquiries, and collection performance. . Support sales compensation analysis and commission structure optimization. . Collaborate with operations teams on capacity planning, utilization analysis, and throughput optimization. . Analyze key operational KPIs including eligibility processing, visit scheduling efficiency, and provider productivity. . Reporting & Analytics. . Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPI tracking systems. . Create comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders and external partners (quarterly reporting). . Support quarterly investor and board reporting with detailed variance analysis and forward-looking insights. . Build automated reporting tools to enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization. . Cross-Functional Partnership. . Work closely with Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. . Collaborate with accounting team (PYA) to ensure proper financial controls and month-end close processes. . Support partnership development by providing financial analysis for new client onboarding and contract negotiations. . Partner with leadership team on capital planning, fundraising initiatives, and strategic planning. . . Required Qualifications. Education & Experience. . Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. . 5-8 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior analyst or manager role. . Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred, particularly in service-based or technology-enabled healthcare models. . Experience with high-growth companies or startups, ideally in scaling phases. . Technical Skills. . Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. . Expert-level Excel skills with experience in complex financial models. . Experience with financial planning software. . Familiarity with ERP systems (QuickBooks experience a plus). . Knowledge of revenue recognition principles, particularly in healthcare services. . Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). . Analytical & Business Skills. . Strong understanding of technology enabled service business metrics (LTV, CAC, retention, network utilization rates). . Experience analyzing multi-stakeholder business models with B2B2C components. . Ability to translate complex financial analysis into actionable business insights. . Experience with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. . Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and revenue cycle management. . Leadership & Communication. . Proven ability to present financial information to executive teams and board members. . Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. . Experience mentoring junior team members and building FP&A processes. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. . Preferred Qualifications. . Experience with telehealth or virtual care delivery models. . Knowledge of dietitian credentialing and healthcare provider networks. .
