Advise and represent state agencies and officials in a variety of legal matters.. Oversee the work of the Attorney General's office and manage a team of attorneys and support staff.. Develop and implement legal strategies to protect state interests and uphold the law.. Represent the state in court and administrative proceedings, including complex litigation.. Collaborate with other state and federal agencies on legal initiatives and policy development.. Advocate for legislative changes to enhance the legal framework and protect public interests.. Engage with the public and stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability.. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.. Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction, with a record of good standing.. 10+ years of legal experience, with significant experience in public law or government legal work.. Previous experience in a leadership role or as a senior attorney preferred.. Strong understanding of state and federal laws, regulations, and legal procedures..
