Prior experience within private equity, investment banking or consulting is preferred. Remuneration:. This is a paid internship. . Responsibilities. Sourcing & Origination:. Research aerospace and defense acquisition targets in the US and Europe, and present findings in Excel or PowerPoint. Analyse niche market segments and conduct market mapping. Participate in meetings with advisors and industry contacts. Assist in the screening of inbound investment opportunities. . Deal Execution: . Support financial and commercial due diligence. Gain experience of the end-to-end deal process, including legal structuring and due diligence, tax, insurance, environmental etc. Assist senior colleagues with financial modelling and preparing investment memoranda. . Portfolio Management: . Support the senior management of portfolio companies with business analysis and implementation of value creation initiatives. . Desired Competencies.
