CEO/Co-Founder (Digital Health - Ambient AI - Patient Engagement & Discharge) at Alloy Partners. Alloy Partners is a venture builder with a radical thesis: that we can build and scale advantaged companies in partnership with corporations and entrepreneurs. . Alloy Partners and the University of Notre Dame partnered to establish a first-of-its-kind venture studio (the 1842 Studio) and venture fund (the 1842 Fund) that aligns with Notre Dame’s mission of serving as a “Force for Good” in the world. In close partnership with the University and its vast “ND Family” of alumni, corporate, community, and academic leaders, the 1842 Studio aims to co-create startups that address important societal challenges, such as improving health access and outcomes for our most vulnerable populations. . We are seeking a world-class entrepreneur for the role of CEO and Co-Founder for our newest company, which is currently in stealth mode (hereafter “StealthCo”). Co-developed with a top ranked academic medical center, StealthCo is an AI-powered recovery and discharge platform designed to address the hospital capacity crisis by activating complex, hospitalized patients and their caregivers, leading to a reduction in length of stay and care team burden. . Hospitals face a mounting capacity crisis that cannot be solved by building more facilities or hiring additional staff alone. Patients often feel uncertain and disengaged during their hospital stay, leading to inaction and slower recoveries. Their caregivers are also confused and unprepared to take on home care responsibilities, leading to further discharge delays and complications. Nurses are left to fill the gaps—repeating instructions, answering non-clinical questions, and chasing down incomplete tasks. These duties fall outside their core clinical role, contributing to burnout and pulling time away from caring for other patients. . StealthCo will use Ambient AI to tackle these challenges, activating patients and their caregivers without adding to the care team’s administrative burden. . As CEO and Co-founder you will work to build conviction with the market, investors, and early customers as you bring StealthCo to market. With the support of the Alloy Partner’s team, you will set the go-to-market strategy and get the MVP into the hands of early customers. This is a unique opportunity to be a creator, builder, and innovator to build a world-class product from scratch. . What You'll Do:. Serve as a leader and co-founder to shape company strategy and company vision while building conviction in the market, with investors, and customers. Drive growth, profitability, and company value while implementing scalable and efficient strategies to ensure consistent results and exponential growth. Own the operational budget and manage burn rate and runway, align available resources to achieve key business goals and milestones . Create and execute a fundraising strategy to drive interest from outside VC investors. Structure a thoughtful organizational hiring plan and recruit, retain & develop world-class talent against that plan. Determine the highest-order KPIs and build a plan and team to measure, monitor, and improve them. Develop a comprehensive framework for initiating and supporting relationships across hospital systems, specifically academic medical centers and large regional systems including channel partners to further StealthCo’s offering. Assist the product/technical co-founder in defining, evaluating, and evolving the product roadmap by identifying new opportunities and gaps. Create and sustain a great company culture with articulated values that provides inspired leadership and enables a great working relationship to the team across all levels. Report updates to the Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders regarding progress on strategic goals. What You'll Need:. Demonstrated experience in selling and developing early stage digital health SaaS products and navigating pilot contracts within health systems. Significant experience with a variety of software platforms, ideally with experience in ambient technology or patient engagement and discharge products. An authentic desire to transform complex hospital operational challenges through human-centered, technology-enabled innovation that benefits patients, caregivers, nurses, and healthcare systems alike.
