Role Overview. As a Technical Assessor, you will conduct structured technical interviews, review real-world coding tasks, and provide expert, unbiased evaluations for candidates applying to mid-to-senior level roles. Your input will directly shape high-quality engineering teams for our mission-driven clients.. Responsibilities. 1. Technical Interviews & Assessments. Assess candidates in your area of expertise by:. React Engineer Assessor. . Reviewing skills in React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, TailwindCSS/Material UI. . Evaluating state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API). . Validating testing experience (Jest, Cypress) and CI/CD familiarity. . Fullstack Engineer with D365 Assessor. . Evaluating React, Next.js, NestJS, and TypeScript capabilities. . Assessing D365 integration experience and performance considerations. . Reviewing backend skills, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, and authentication (OAuth, JWT). . Backend Engineer Assessor. . Assessing skills in NestJS, Node.js, and RESTful API development. . Reviewing database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and performance optimization. . Validating experience with Docker, CI/CD, Azure, and testing tools (Jest, Mocha). . 2. Evaluation & Reporting. . Score candidates using structured rubrics. . Provide clear written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and fit. . Recommend pass/fail or next steps. . 3. Collaboration. . Align with Kupa Global’s hiring team to refine evaluation criteria. . Join calibration sessions to ensure consistency and fairness. . Contribute to strong, mission-aligned hiring decisions. . Ideal Skills and Experience. Technical Background. . . React Technical Assessor:. 6+ years in frontend development with React and TypeScript. . . Fullstack with D365 Technical Assessor:. 6+ years fullstack experience, including D365 integration. . . Backend Technical Assessor:. 6+ years in backend development with NestJS, Node.js, and CI/CD. . All roles should also have:. . Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and secure auth (OAuth, JWT). . Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. . Exposure to cloud environments (preferably Azure). . Assessment Experience. . Prior experience conducting technical interviews or code reviews. . Ability to fairly evaluate coding skills and architecture knowledge. .
