The Role. Our client is seeking a highly motivated Venture Development Associate (English & Mandarin Speaker) to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Co-Founders on high-impact strategic projects that shape our client’s growth trajectory.. The ideal candidate will have a consulting, strategy, or venture building background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will take ownership of projects end-to-end—from ideation and analysis to execution—while driving initiatives that directly contribute to our client’s global expansion.. Key Responsibilities . . . Strategic Projects:. Independently set up, manage, and execute strategic initiatives across business functions. . . . Process Optimization:. Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop clear implementation plans. . . . Performance Analysis:. Conduct deep dives into business performance, build dashboards, and create tracking mechanisms for key KPIs. . . . Leadership Support:. Prepare high-quality materials for board and investor meetings and assist co-founders with priority tasks. . . . Market Research & M&A Analysis:. Assess acquisition opportunities in the fields of ingredients, delivery mechanisms, and supplement companies. . . . Cross-Functional Collaboration:. Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution. . . . At least a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science). A Master’s degree is a plus. . . Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken. . . Proven experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, venture building, banking, and/or financial services. . . Prior exposure to e-commerce, D2C, or consumer brands is a strong advantage. . . Startup or scale-up experience is a plus, ideally in a fast-growing international environment. . . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly comfortable with numbers and data-driven decision-making. . . Proficiency in tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and ideally data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). . . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear messages for internal and external stakeholders. . . Entrepreneurial mindset with a can-do attitude, adaptability, and the drive to go above and beyond. . . Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.. .
