Dispatcher for Trucking Business PART TIME at GLOBAL PACIFIC SUPPORT. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team in the trucking industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the operations between drivers, brokers, and office staff. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with spreadsheets, and a keen eye for detail when it comes to processing Bills of Lading and other documents. . Crop and label photos of Bills of Lading (BOL) that are sent by drivers, ensuring all relevant details are visible and accurate. . . Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving BOL images for easy access and reference. . . . . . . Driver Communication & Tracking. . . . Regularly communicate with drivers to ensure timely updates regarding their routes, schedules, and any potential delays. . . Remind drivers to send tracking information as required, ensuring that brokers and customers are kept in the loop with accurate updates. . . . . . . Reporting & Spreadsheet Management. . . . Generate and manage various reports related to fleet performance, shipment status, and driver activities. . . Work with spreadsheets to track deliveries, shipments, and other essential data for the business, ensuring reports are up to date and accurate. . . Assist with monitoring driver logs, delivery times, and overall fleet performance to optimize operations. . . . . . . Coordination with Brokers. . . . Provide brokers with real-time updates on shipment status and coordinate any changes or issues that arise. . . Ensure proper communication flow between brokers and drivers to maintain smooth and efficient operations. . . . . . . Administrative Tasks. . . . Support with general administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the office. . . Maintain and update driver schedules, logs, and other essential paperwork. . . . . . Skills & Qualifications. :. . Proven experience in a dispatch or coordination role, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry. . . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling documentation and reports. . . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. . . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to generate and manage detailed reports. . . Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities. . . Basic understanding of trucking operations, logistics, and regulations is a plus. . . Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms for photo management and document storage. . . Preferred Qualifications. :. . Experience working with trucking management software or dispatch systems. . . Knowledge of Bill of Lading processing and photo/documentation management.. . How to Apply:.
