Senior Accountant. to partner with our client and their fast-growing global finance team. This role sits at the intersection of execution and oversight: managing daily transactions, supporting junior team members, and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting to senior leadership.. As a Senior Accountant, your success will be measured by the accuracy and completeness of transactional work, the clarity of your communication, and your ability to act as a steadying presence between offshore and senior finance leadership. You’ll manage a wide range of responsibilities while guiding team members and continuously improving how the function runs. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Team Oversight & Communication. . Act as the first point of contact and escalation for junior finance team members based in Sri Lanka.. . Review and provide feedback on reconciliations, journal entries, and data accuracy.. . Manage the shared finance inbox; prioritizing and routing queries, and responding to external messages when appropriate.. . . Transactional Accounting. . Reconcile bank and crypto accounts on a daily basis.. . Code and post journal entries, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger transactions.. . Investigate and resolve basic client queries related to invoices or payments.. . Allocate crypto transactions (using tools such as Kraken) accurately within ledgers, ensuring full traceability.. . Month-End Close & Reporting . . Drive month-end close processes, ensuring timely completion across the team.. . Consolidate and team member submissions for completeness and accuracy.. . Deliver P&L and balance sheet commentary to finance leadership, highlighting trends and anomalies.. . Process Improvement. . Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current workflows, and propose solutions.. . Support the development of repeatable, well-documented processes that increase accuracy and reduce rework.. . Colleagues. You’ll report to senior finance leadership and work closely with a finance team based in Sri Lanka. Your day-to-day will include coordination with junior accountants, internal stakeholders, and select external contacts.. Crypto Acumen:. Experience with - or the ability to quickly learn - crypto transaction reconciliation would be an added advantage . . . Tools: .
