QA Automation Engineer (GCP/Cypress/Jest) at Devsu. We are looking for a . QA Automation Engineer. with strong experience in test automation, functional QA, and working in Google Cloud Platform environments. This role will be key in ensuring software quality, detecting regressions early, and reducing technical debt, while collaborating closely with the development team.. Responsibilities. . Design, implement, and maintain . automated tests. (unit, integration, and E2E) using Jest and Cypress. . . Execute and document . functional tests. for critical business scenarios. . . Perform . API testing. to validate backend services. . . Configure and optimize . CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions. . . . Work with . GCP. services (Cloud Functions, Workflows, App Engine, credentials). . . Refactor and improve coverage of legacy code. . . Participate in defining and implementing effective testing practices. . . Execute cross-browser and multi-device testing (Browserstack – nice to have).. . . 2–3 years of experience in test automation with JavaScript. . . Strong hands-on experience with . Cypress. for E2E testing (1–2 years minimum). . . Practical knowledge of . Jest. for unit and component testing. . . Experience with . API testing. (Postman, JS libraries). . . . 2+ years of experience with GCP. , including Cloud Functions, Workflows, App Engine, and credential management. . . Experience with . CI/CD using GitHub Actions. (deployment and PR validation). . . At least . 1 year of experience in functional QA. . . . . Fluent English – minimum B2 level. . . . Nice to Have. . Knowledge of . Angular. . . . Experience with . Browserstack. . . . Soft Skills. . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. . . Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset. . .
