This is a field-role based in Japan, which includes frequent travel across the country. Working alongside another colleague locally, you will spend a significant amount of your time on-site partnering in person with your primary client in their offices.. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.. Your mission. Reporting to the Senior Director, Regional Sales (APAC) you will own the relationship with our customers for existing SOPHiA GENETICS services, and their future expansion with up-sell and cross-sell for our broad product & applications portfolio across the Genomic Diagnostics & NGS Workflow. You will lead activity across the Japanese market, and support across APAC as part of the wider team.. Your responsibilities. Collaborate closely with your clients in country, and in turn supporting their end-user customers with all commercial conversations and activity.. Be a true champion for voice of customer and accounts within the territory, providing best-in-class account management and support.. Be a conduit for all technical queries, troubleshooting and support for your customers, collaborating closely with internal SOPHiA colleagues for quick resolution.. Deliver platform demonstrations and in-depth presentations to customers and participate in trade shows, vendors shows and technical/promotional seminars. Provide expert knowledge across the full range of SOPHiA GENETICS products and applications, including AI SaaS Solutions to manage and interpret NGS Biomarkers and Laboratory Preparation. Gather and share competitive market intelligence and drive continuous product development in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product Management. To be best established for success in this role, you will bring:. Direct experience (Technical or commercial) with products throughout the NGS Workflow, Genomic Diagonstics or similar molecular diagnostics. . You'll ideally bring experience of either wet lab molecular biology products or drylab bioinformatic processes.. Localised knowledge of the Japanese healthcare market, including diagnostic solutions and end users required.. Comfortable in translating complex, technical vocabulary into simple terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with both commercial & technical stakeholders is essential.. BSc, MSc or PHd in a relevant field such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar.. .
