We are seeking a dynamic People Lead to guide and inspire a high-performing HR team while ensuring seamless HR operations across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of growth, recognition, and collaboration. You will lead initiatives spanning payroll, employee lifecycle management, engagement, and workforce planning, while mentoring your team to achieve their full potential. Your work will directly influence company culture, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction in a remote-first, fast-paced environment. This position requires a hands-on yet strategic approach, balancing HR expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.. . Accountabilities:. Lead and mentor the People Team (6 direct reports), fostering professional growth and team cohesion.. Partner with executive leadership to ensure alignment between people strategies and business goals.. Oversee Dutch payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.. Manage employee absence and sickness cases in compliance with applicable legislation.. Drive and optimize HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle, compensation, and benefits.. Serve as an HR Business Partner, advising managers on performance, engagement, and development.. Champion a culture of openness, feedback, and recognition across the organization.. Support organizational growth through workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.. 3–5 years of HR experience, including hands-on operational work and team leadership.. Proven experience with Dutch payroll and absence/sickness management (short and long term).. Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR compliance.. Experience as an HR Business Partner providing guidance and people insights to leaders.. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.. Strong organizational skills with the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex situations.. Proactive, independent, and values-driven mindset with a people-first approach..
