That means documented SOPs, structured concept and angle development frameworks, a tested feedback loop methodology, and a creative team that operates with clarity and purpose.. You won't be joining chaos. You'll be joining a machine and we want you to help run it.. The Team You're Joining. We already have a Creative Strategist on the team and a highly experienced Head of Creative Strategy (consulting) who helped us build our methodology. This role sits alongside them as a senior contributor, bringing complementary depth, strong independent output, and the ability to own end-to-end workstreams.. The Role. This is not a pure creative role. It's not a pure analyst role. It's not a copywriting role.. It's all three and that's the point.. We're looking for a . Senior Creative Strategist. who thinks in systems, writes like a human, and reads performance data the way a good doctor reads a scan. Someone who can move from a ROAS dashboard to a 60-second UGC script to a concept brief without losing the thread between them.. You'll own creative performance end-to-end across our paid channels: concept development, angle validation, copywriting, briefing, analysis, and iteration. Every week, you'll leave the system stronger than you found it.. What You'll Actually Do. Creative Strategy. Develop ad concepts using our internal framework, locking awareness levels, belief states, and required shifts before any creative execution begins. Build concept-to-angle hierarchies that generate distinct creative signals for Meta (Andromeda-aware), not just hook variations. Monitor competitors, track DTC trends, and surface white space opportunities before the market does. Direct Response Copywriting. Write launch-ready ad copy across Meta, TikTok, UGC scripts, VSLs, email flows, PDPs, and landing pages. Write the way our customer talks. Specific, warm, real, zero fluff not the way ChatGPT or Claude would. . Produce hook options, scene-by-scene scripts, static copy packs, and email sequences to production-ready standard. Operate within compliance boundaries for a TGA/FDA-registered product without being told twice. Performance Analysis. Use the Test → Signal → Decision → Next Move model to convert performance data into explicit creative learnings. Analyse creative metrics (Thumbstop, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and translate them into clear strategic direction — not just commentary. Identify which ICP responded, which angle and emotion resonated, where attention dropped, and what that tells us about buyer psychology. Feed learnings back into the next concept batch every single week. Briefing & Team Leadership. Brief video editors, graphic designers, and UGC creators with production-ready documents that require no strategic interpretation. Run 1st-layer creative quality control before assets go to final approval. Maintain the creative pipeline in Asana and Google Drive according to our workflow SOP — nothing falls through cracks. What You're Looking For. Non-negotiable:. Minimum 2 years of experience. as a Creative Strategist, either in-house at a DTC/e-commerce or agency. You've done this properly before, not just adjacent to it. Proven track record in paid social creative strategy. Meta experience is essential. Strong direct response copywriting ability. You can write a high-converting Meta ad and a UGC script in the same morning. Genuine analytical capability. You're comfortable in a Meta Ads dashboard and you know the difference between a signal and noise. Experienced working within SOPs, frameworks, and structured workflows. . You don't need to be convinced that process makes creativity better. You already know it does. Comfortable operating in creative sprints. . You can move from concept to brief to launch-ready copy at pace, without cutting corners on strategy. Strategic thinking grounded in consumer psychology. Awareness levels, belief states, and objection handling, not just "good hooks". Full ownership mentality. . You take responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs.
