The position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, delivering technical education, and influencing market adoption through research and innovation. This fully remote role allows you to drive impact across multiple regions, collaborate cross-functionally, and shape the technical direction of solutions that improve livestock performance, animal welfare, and food security.. . Accountabilities. As Technical Director, your responsibilities include:. . Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, veterinarians, nutritionists, industry influencers, and research institutions.. . Providing technical support to sales teams in virtual and face-to-face meetings, delivering presentations and guidance.. . Creating technical documentation, bulletins, protocols, and reports to support research and product adoption.. . Leading initiatives to fill value gaps through research, complementary products, and technical publications.. . Coordinating with marketing to ensure technical messaging aligns with campaigns and communications.. . Training and mentoring the sales and technical teams to enhance product knowledge and technical capabilities.. . Participating in industry and professional associations to strengthen the company’s technical presence.. . Utilizing CRM tools to document customer interactions and maintain technical dashboards.. . The ideal candidate will bring:. . 5+ years of experience in the animal agriculture or animal health industry.. . PhD in poultry science/animal production or DVM qualification.. . Strong technical and scientific background, capable of executing, analyzing, and presenting research protocols.. . Practical knowledge of the UK poultry feed industry and its key influencers.. . Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing.. . Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.. . Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.. . Proficiency with MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software.. .
