Accountabilities:. ·         Lead a dedicated team of engineers responsible for core product development.. ·         Serve as a hands-on technical contributor, setting high standards for code quality and delivery speed.. ·         Define, evolve, and maintain the overall system architecture in line with product and engineering goals.. ·         Analyze product usage metrics to inform decisions, prioritize work, and drive product excellence.. ·         Mentor and support engineers, providing guidance to foster growth and best practices.. ·         Plan and coordinate engineering execution, breaking down tasks and ensuring efficient delivery.. ·         Run team processes autonomously while escalating challenges when necessary.. ·         Participate actively in hiring and interviewing to build a strong, high-performing team.. ·         5–8+ years of strong engineering experience, including individual contributor roles.. ·         3+ years of proven experience leading successful engineering teams.. ·         Expert-level proficiency in Python and solid knowledge of frameworks such as Django or Flask.. ·         Strong JavaScript and backend application development skills.. ·         Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and database design.. ·         Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products reliably.. ·         BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; MS/PhD is a plus.. ·         Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.. ·         Comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership, and driving results.. ·         Self-motivated, diligent, and highly collaborative work ethic..
