You will oversee a growing estimating team, drive strategic process improvements, and collaborate closely with leadership and technical departments. The position is remote and requires a high level of autonomy, strategic thinking, and impact.. Responsibilities. Build, manage, and develop a bid estimating team.. Collaborate with senior leadership to support long-term strategic initiatives, including building and improving bid processes.. Manage the end-to-end bidding process, including pre-bid analysis, scope definition, estimation, pricing strategy, communication with partners and potential clients, preparation and submission of tender documentation, and monitoring bid outcomes.. Lead the estimation of project costs, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and reliability.. Work closely with the engineering, supply chain, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and feasibility.. Partner with business development and engineering teams to understand client needs and develop competitive proposals.. Identify and mitigate risks associated with project estimates and bids.. Continuously evaluate and refine bidding and estimation processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and competitiveness.. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting project costs and bidding strategies.. Proven leadership and team management experienc. e, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams (2+ members).. Solid experience in bidding, estimating, or project management within the construction industry.. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in the U.S. tender/bidding market (preferably within construction or related sectors).. Comprehensive knowledge of project cost estimation techniques, tools, and methodologies.. Familiarity with estimating and bid management platforms and software, such as. ConstructConnect.com. , Procore, Oracle, or similar systems.. Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes..
