Financial Operations Specialist. to partner with our client – a rapidly growing omni-channel food brand with distribution across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, Whole Foods, Costco, and other retail partners. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making across a high-growth, inventory-based business.. As a Financial Operations Specialist, your success will be measured by your ability to execute recurring finance and operations processes with accuracy and efficiency, while contributing insights and process improvements that reduce leadership workload and strengthen reporting.. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Finance Execution & Accuracy. . Manage AP/AR processes including invoices, purchase orders, and payments. . Reconcile wholesale orders and transactions on a monthly basis. . Support month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy of data for financial reviews. . Collaborate with fractional finance partners on reconciliations and reporting. . Use QuickBooks (and other finance tools) for wholesale PO entry and tracking. . . Operational Support & Data Management. . Manage retailer onboarding administration and item form completion. . Reconcile sales and inventory data across Shopify, Whole Foods, Costco, Thrive Market, and Amazon. . Pull reports from dashboards (Crystal EDI, retailer portals) and translate into clean datasets. . Assist with inventory reconciliations, providing visibility into stock positions. . Support backend logistics tasks such as DHL forms for international shipments. . Analysis & Reporting. . Provide weekly and ad hoc reporting (sales by store, campaign performance, etc.). . Analyze sales, inventory, and finance data to identify errors, trends, or discrepancies. . Conduct A/B testing or user data review to inform leadership of opportunities for improvement. . Process Improvement & Strategic Support. . Proactively flag data discrepancies and recommend solutions. . Contribute ideas to improve workflows, reporting, and reconciliation accuracy. . Support leadership with data inputs for month-end or board-level discussions. . Colleagues.
