Duties and Responsibilities:. •Perform functional testing of web and mobile applications to ensure features meet requirements and work as intended. •Debottleneck the QA process by validating work against defined acceptance criteria. •Investigate and identify software bugs, analyze root causes, and validate issues by executing and reviewing failing unit tests. •Identify issues not caught by product or development teams, and escalate unclear items to the relevant team when necessary. •Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and pipelines to optimize the testing process, reduce manual effort, and ensure application performance and system reliability under varying load conditions. •Report and document bugs found during testing with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity ratings to support timely resolution. •Partner closely with product and development teams to develop detailed test cases and ensure thorough testing of new features and integrations. •Continuously refine performance testing strategies to align with evolving system requirements and deployment goals. •Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to proactively identify testing needs and support seamless integration between development and QA. •Develop and maintain UI automated tests for critical platform paths to ensure reliability and regression coverage. •Continuously assess areas for automation to target high-risk or high-usage features, improving test efficiency and overall coverage. Must-have Skills / Qualification:. •At least 2 to 3 years of extensive quality assurance experience, both in manual and automation testing. •Demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript with hands-on experience using modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools. •Ability to confidently enforce quality standards by rejecting non-compliant tickets (including those from senior developers) and clearly communicating the rationale based on test results and requirements. •Exceptional documentation skills, including the ability to define and maintain high standards in use cases, test cases, and API documentation. •Proficient in managing and documenting test cases, defects, and workflows using Jira to ensure clear communication and efficient issue tracking. •Possess problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. •Excellent English communication skills to effectively collaborate within and across functional teams. Advantageous Skills/Experience:. •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. •Experience in BDD-style test automation using Gherkin syntax. •Knowledge in Vitest.
