Accountabilities. · Lead the development and implementation of breakthrough technologies in robotics, vision systems, AR/VR tools, smart factories, digital twins, and predictive systems.. · Research and integrate emerging technologies to improve automation capabilities.. · Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process and equipment optimization.. · Develop and execute technology roadmaps that achieve step-change improvements and meet investment thresholds.. · Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving control system and automation issues.. · Identify cost-effective technology opportunities, develop business cases, and support commercialization at scale.. · Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, IT, vendors, and contractors to align initiatives and deliver solutions.. · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.. · 8+ years of experience in electrical/control system design.. · Minimum 5 years of practical experience in consumer products or related manufacturing environments, ideally with FDA or USDA regulations.. · Proven leadership in developing and commercializing new manufacturing technologies, including process, packaging, automation, and material handling innovations.. · Strong track record of building and managing external partnerships with vendors and technology developers.. · Experience providing both tactical and strategic project leadership.. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.. · Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to manufacturing and vendor sites across North America.. .
