Quality Engieer-L4 at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Salary range: Rs 3000000 - Rs 3800000 (ie INR 30-38 LPA). Min Experience: 3 years. Location: Remote (India). JobType: full-time. We are looking for a seasoned Quality Engineer to drive quality initiatives across the engineering organization. This role involves close collaboration with product engineers, site reliability engineers, and cross-functional teams to define, build, and evolve test automation practices. Define, develop, and execute automated test suites using frameworks like Cypress or Playwright. . . Ensure alignment with industry best practices across all aspects of quality engineering (QE) processes and methodologies. . . Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure comprehensive coverage. . . Lead different types of testing: functional, integration, end-to-end, and performance. . . Track QE objectives and ensure delivery of high-quality features to customers. . . Internal Tools & Infrastructure:. . Build dashboards to monitor and report code quality and test coverage metrics. . . Enhance synthetic monitoring practices using tools such as NewRelic. . . Collaborate with DevOps to manage and troubleshoot test environments and support testing during release cycles. . . Provide internal tool support and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering systems and workflows. . . Project Execution:. . Prepare and maintain detailed test plans and execution reports to ensure traceability and full test coverage. . . Support task prioritization, project estimates, and sprint planning for feature releases. . . Use modern project management tools (e.g., JIRA) to manage epics, user stories, and tasks. . . Participate in requirements gathering and customer demo preparation for project deliverables. . . Break down complex tasks and plan effective execution using Agile methodologies. . . Cross-Functional Collaboration:. . Effectively communicate technical ideas and testing strategies to engineering teams. . . Provide strategic input to enhance testing productivity and efficiency. . . Partner with global and cross-functional teams to align quality practices with broader engineering goals. . . Manage project risks and ensure testing activities meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations. . . Minimum Qualifications. . 3+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a product-led growth (PLG) environment. . . Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or RSpec. . . Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript. . . Familiarity with at least one backend language: Java, Python, or Ruby. . . Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing best practices, and Agile processes. . . Experience with web services, microservices, and API-level testing. . . Nice to Have. . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. . . Experience with CI/CD tools and synthetic monitoring platforms like NewRelic, GCP Logging, or Datadog. . . Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes. . . Software testing certifications and knowledge of microservices architecture are a plus. . .
