Telephone Triage Nurse | Permanent WFH at BizForce. The Telephone Triage Nurse (TTN) is responsible for providing remote triage services for US-based patients. The role involves conducting patient assessments over the phone or via a software platform to determine the urgency of medical needs. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle triage calls efficiently.. Job Responsibilities:. . Patient Triage & Assessment: Conduct remote triage via phone or telemedicine, following protocols to assess severity and advise on care (emergent, urgent care, non-urgent). . Clinical Support: Offer health advice, recommend at-home care, and direct patients to appropriate providers, and collaborate with US onshore teams as needed.. . Emergency Response: Recognize emergencies and advise patients to seek immediate care, prioritizing urgent cases.. . Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately document interactions and assessments in the provided software such as EHRs, ensuring HIPAA compliance.. . Must have passed the US NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination).. . Must have a valid US NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact), multi-state.. . At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, ideally with exposure to triage, emergency care, or telehealth nursing. . . Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.. . Strong clinical assessment and triage skills in a remote setting.. . Compassionate and patient-centered approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.. . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote work environment.. . Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy laws such as HIPAA.. .
