We are in search of a dynamic and strategic VP of Sales Finance to lead our finance function within the sales organization. This role will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to drive sales performance, pricing strategies, and overall revenue growth. The VP of Sales Finance will work closely with executive leadership and sales teams to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategies, and to deliver actionable insights that inform and influence business decisions. . Key Responsibilities: . Lead the sales finance team, providing mentorship and direction to analysts and managers to enhance capabilities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. . Partner with Sales leadership to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic pricing initiatives that align with our financial objectives. . Work with the team to implement a TPM system to for tracking of sales promotions and related ROI of deals. . Assist in the implementation of an upgrade of the current demand planning system. . Prepare the annual AOP for sales in collaboration with leadership. . Analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing insights to help optimize pricing, promotional plans, and sales strategies. . Drive the evaluation of trade promotions and customer profitability; recommend adjustments for continuous improvement. . Oversee the preparation of financial models to support business initiatives, including new product launches or market expansion. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals, capabilities, and reporting requirements. . Monitor industry trends to provide strategic recommendations that drive competitive advantage. . Enhance financial processes related to sales and distribution, ensuring efficiency and compliance with corporate policies. . Deliver presentations to senior leadership, outlining financial results and actionable insights to support decision-making. . Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or equivalent is highly preferred. . 10+ years of financial experience in sales finance, with a focus in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Natural foods experience a plus. . 5+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing finance teams. . Strong knowledge of financial modeling, sales analytics, and trade promotions. Confido experience a plus. . Proven track record of driving actionable financial insights that enhance sales performance and profitability. . Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence cross-functional teams. . Ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively to support decision-making. . Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools is a plus. . Willingness to travel occasionally for business as needed. .
