Our client is seeking a sharp, fast-moving Contract Video Editor who thrives in a performance-driven environment and excels at transforming ideas into high-converting ads. We collaborate with some of the most exciting DTC brands and are looking for an editor who can bring creative concepts to life with speed, polish, and a performance-first mindset. This role is ideal for someone who understands that editing isn’t just about making content look great—it’s about driving brand growth. You’ll be part of a creative ecosystem that values insight, agility, quality, and measurable results.. Key Responsibilities. Ad Editing & Optimization. . Cut raw UGC, testimonials, product demos, and B-roll into polished, high-converting video ads (typically for Meta/TikTok). . Implement advanced editing best practices—rhythm, pacing, visual cues, CTAs, hooks, and end cards that convert. . Incorporate performance feedback into creative revisions and iterations quickly. . Creative Collaboration. . Work closely with our Creative Strategists to bring briefs, storyboards, and concepts to life. . Translate scripts and creative direction into compelling visual stories. . Maintain alignment with brand aesthetics and ensure consistency across assets. . Technical Execution. . Deliver clean, platform-optimized exports (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). . Source and implement royalty-free music, sound effects, and overlays. . Track and organize source files to maintain project hygiene and scalability. . The Non-Negotiables: What Makes You Exceptional. You’re proactive in suggesting improvements or ways to make ads perform better. . Technical Foundations. Required Experience:. . 2+ years experience editing paid social ads or direct-response video content (Meta/TikTok/YouTube Shorts). . Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus). . Deep familiarity with platform-specific best practices and ad formats. . Access to your own editing setup (hardware + software). . Strong sense of rhythm, pacing, and visual storytelling. .
