Vice President, Business Development at Gritter Francona. Gritter Francona is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Development Associate to support growth! This role involves identifying federal, state, and local government opportunities, supporting proposal development, and helping to build strong relationships with contracting officers, teaming partners, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate understands the procurement lifecycle and is eager to grow their career in government contracting.. Key Responsibilities:. . Identify and research new government contracting opportunities through different platforms . . Assist in tracking upcoming RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought Notices aligned with company capabilities. . . Support capture planning efforts, including competitor analysis, customer intelligence gathering, and partner identification. . . Help develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities across defense, civilian, and state/local agencies. . . Coordinate and build relationships with prime contractors, subcontractors, and other teaming partners. . . Support the preparation of proposal documents, capability statements, and other submission materials. . . Maintain CRM records and ensure data accuracy across pursuits. . . Participate in industry events, agency outreach, and networking opportunities to stay informed about government trends and agency needs. . . Monitor compliance requirements, registration statuses (e.g., SAM, SBA, NAICS codes), and certifications (e.g., 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB). . . . 8 years of relevant experience. . Familiarity with the government contracting lifecycle, FAR/DFARS, and common procurement vehicles (GSA Schedules, IDIQs, BPAs) preferred. . Strong written and verbal communication skills. . . Excellent research, organizational, and time management abilities. . . Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; GovWin experience a plus.. . Company Location: United States.
