We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead and deliver critical technical initiatives in a fast-growing enterprise cybersecurity environment. In this role, you will design scalable services, set architectural standards, and implement features that directly impact product performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams, guiding development practices, mentoring engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with broad influence across multiple teams and projects, ideal for engineers passionate about solving complex, distributed systems challenges in an AI-driven cybersecurity platform.. . Accountabilities. ·         Lead architecture design and technical specifications to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high performance.. ·         Develop and maintain robust, scalable services and REST APIs, taking ownership from coding to deployment and maintenance.. ·         Perform thorough code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to engineering best practices.. ·         Mentor senior engineers, provide guidance, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.. ·         Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into production-ready solutions.. ·         Drive engineering standards and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and with high technical quality.. ·         8+ years of software development experience with leadership in large-scale, distributed systems.. ·         Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).. ·         Experience with Python 3 service development frameworks (FastAPI, Flask), data modeling (Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic), and testing (Pytest) on AWS.. ·         Strong expertise designing, implementing, and operating REST APIs at scale.. ·         Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and migration management.. ·         Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, ECS, EKS) and containerized deployments.. ·         Familiarity with software design principles, architectural patterns, and best practices.. ·         Experience leading engineering projects, managing resources, and meeting delivery deadlines.. ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong team collaboration.. ·         Some experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including standard patterns (Agents, RAG, Tools) and frameworks.. .
